Eavers Tire is owned by Petie and Gary Eavers, and has been open in Stuarts Draft, VA, since 1949. Over the past 60 years ownership has been passed down three generations. From 1949 to 1990, Eavers Tire was in a small building that sold Amoco gasoline, groceries, and provided customers with oil changes, tires, and many automotive services.

In 1990, the Eavers family built a larger gas station/convenience store/tire shop on the lot next to the old location. Eavers Tire operated out of that location from 1990-2000.

In 2000, Eavers Tire outgrew the back of the Amoco convenience store, and the Eavers family built the current Eavers Tire with a large showroom and seven double bays to better serve the Stuarts Draft community.

In 2005 Eavers Tire was starting to outgrow that location, but instead of adding on to the building, the Eavers family decided to open a second location in nearby Fishersville, VA, just 8 miles away. The Eavers Tire in Fishersville opened its doors for business in December 2006. The original Eavers Tire in Stuarts Draft is managed by Tad Alexander, and the new Eavers Tire in Fishersville is managed by Shannon Combs.
